In the territory of four modern countries: Russia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and China — there is an ancient and wonderful land Altai. Each of the peoples inhabiting it celebrate its fascinating beauty in their arts. Over a hundred years Russian artists have painted Altai, it has become “the Promised Land” and “the land of inspiration” for them. This is how it appears in our film, reflected in the works of Russian artists from the collection of Altai State Art Museum.
